Once you receive my order from the doctor, how long does it take to schedule?

If all information is provided, the order will be scheduled for the next available business day unless a specific date is requested. If we are missing information and/or we have questions regarding your order, this will delay scheduling until the missing information is obtained.

How will I know when the technician is coming?

You will receive a call from our customer service representative between the hours of 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm the evening prior to your scheduled appointment.

What if the day/date given does not work for me? Can I reschedule my appointment for another day?

YES. While speaking to Bio-Care customer service representative you can reschedule appointment for another prefer date.

Can I change the time of the appointment?

Unfortunately, no. The times are based on when the technician will be in your area. You can always decline the visit for that day with the expectation that there may be a different time scheduled for the next business day, but there is no guarantee.

If my doctors order fasting bloodwork, when will the technician arrive?

Fasting orders should be done by 10 a.m.

Can my doctor place an order for the same day?

We do not schedule same day orders. When we receive an order from a doctor or agency, it is scheduled for the next business day unless a specific date is requested.

Why can't I always have the same technician each visit?

We try to schedule technicians for the same areas but due to scheduling needs, a technician may be required to service another area.

When will my doctor get the results of my test?

Standard tests are resulted the same or following day the specimen(s) are collected. The results are sent via fax by laboratory to your doctor for review. Specialty tests  can take up to 5 business days.
